OFF WHITE founder and designer Virgil Abloh shook up sneaker culture with his highly anticipated "The Ten" footwear collection, created in collaboration with Nike. The collection assembles 10 models, split in half between two categories "REVEALING" and "GHOSTING." Comprised of both legacy designs and Nike's newest innovations, here we highlight Abloh's interpretation of the classic Blazer Mid shoe. The "REVEALING" component arrived first in a hand-cut, open-source, and reconstructed look. The pair shares design cues with its counterparts, most notably the explicit "AIR" messaging, exposed stitching, and bold off-center Swoosh. Abloh outfits the Blazer Mid in a suede, leather, and nylon-like material, with paneling that gives it a high fashion look. Additional orange accents complete the shoe.
